Sulfur and medicinal baths

The Ludwigstorff Spa Resort boasts Austria's strongest iodine-sulfur spring. This spring forms the basis for the successful treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. The sulfide sulfur is absorbed through the skin and respiratory mucosa, thus exerting its anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and calming effects. The brine bath has a salt content of up to 6% and is frequently used as a complementary therapy for skin diseases, allergies or colds. Carbon dioxide baths are used to treat mild hypertension, minor arterial circulatory disorders, or chronic venous diseases. In general, all baths have a calming and relaxing effect.
